YOU LOOK SO DISGRACED, WITH A FACE FULL OF NUCLEAR WASTE!

Drawing inspiration from Amebix’s Monolith and Sodom’s Agent Orange, Wastelander’s debut Wardrive is an exceptional entry to the theme of post apocalyptic survival. The only thing I am wondering is when the fuck are you guys going to release a follow up album to this kick ass album?

If you are playing any of the Fallout games, while watching Mad Max, while having this album playing, you just might be able to convince yourself that the world has actually ended.

The atmosphere that is constructed by Wastelander’s Wardrive is astonishing. It really feels like a lost recording from the center of the wasteland.

There is a lot of old school black metal influence on Wastelander mainly due to a member being from Summon, and if you are from Michigan and don’t know Summon you don’t know metal. Overall I would say this is a thrash album but there are a lot of black metal influences!

This is definitely an album you need to pick up, this is a great entry to any collection.
